  • Norad Fellowship Program

The only scholarships offered by Norad, are the "Norad Fellowship Offers". This fellowship program targets personnel employed or formally linked up to public institutions, non-governmental organizations, private sector enterprises, universities and research institutions, who will benefit from further education in order to strengthen the performance of their respective institutions. Applicants must fully comply the academic qualifications and other admission requirements according to the specific criteria set by the university or college in question. Relevant professional experience of 2-3 years is an additional requirement. The course catalogue and application forms are available at the reception at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Maputo. The catalogue and the forms can also be downloaded from the Internet. This year the applications are to be submitted directly to the Embassy. Please note that applications that are incomplete or delayed will neither be forwarded to Norway nor returned to the applicant. For more information on the Norad Fellowship Offers, catalogues and forms please check: www.siu.no/norad and choose courses. For more information on The State Education Loan Fund please click [here]. When you reach the website, in the left-hand column, use the scroll-down arrows until you will see the English language option button. Click to view information. Then select 'Grants and Loans to Foreign Citizens'. Please note that it is the responsibility of each individual to write to the Universities for more information and application forms (International Summer School). All scholarship funds for students from developing countries are earmarked for applicants wishing to attend courses at graduate-level. Students who are interested in courses at under-graduate level (so-called general courses) are therefore advised not to apply for a scholarship.
